Pomegranate Yarn

After much swatching last week, I came up with a solution for the sleeve cuffs on the triangle sweater that makes me happy. I modified another design embellishment borrowed from Andean Folk Knitting. The scalloped border is called “puntas.”

I’m loving the subtle play of colours in the pomegranate yarn too. Even though I’ve knit and ripped a few times, Sweet Georgia’s superwash sock yarn is holding up beautifully. It’s a pleasure to knit with it. I almost want to rip it out so I can spend more time working with it!
Do you have a favourite yarn that flies off your needles?

LOVE the Pomegranate yarn too! Really – just beautiful. And the edging is lovely. Ooooooh to have even half your skill with the needles.

[...] The colourway is one of our new ones for fall. Pomegranate. Local knitwear designer, Holli Yeoh, has been knitting this up in one of her new designs and you can read all about it here and … here. [...]
