Stylish shaping and patterning on this vest is reminiscent of a gentleman's tailored waistcoat. Intarsia shapes on the front echo the striping created with self-patterning yarn on the back. Applied I-cord on all the edges provides the finishing touch for this waistcoat.
Size: 0-6 mo, 6-12 mo, 12-24 mo, 2T, 4T
Techniques: stocking stitch, short rows, yarn overs, right and left slanting increases, full-fashioned decreases (K2tog, P2tog, SSK, SSP), intarsia, three-needle bind off, applied I-cord.
The yarns used in the photographed vest are Opal Brasil (5001) with Opal Uni orange (6) in size 2T modeled by Lucy. Opal yarns were generously provided by Ladybug Yarns.
